The Showing Up: Perspectives On Cancer IN-PERSON event brings together cancer patients, survivors and supporters to share their stories, be inspired and supported by others in a safe space. The theme for this year's event is "Education & Inspiration for Healing, Hope & Resilience."
NOTE: If you are a cancer patient and don't have the means to pay for this on your own, please email [email protected].
This is the second annual in-person event in connection with the weekly livestreamed show Showing Up: Perspectives On Cancer found on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter & YouTube.
The schedule includes:
👉 Inspirational and educational speakers, as well as music.
👉 Small breakout sessions for you to share your cancer stories and receive support from other attendees in a safe space.
👉 The second-ever In Person "Showing Up: Perspectives On Cancer" show (which will be livestreamed as well). Tim Sohn and Erica Neubert Campbell will be in conversation with James Kiesewetter, a Colorectal Cancer Survivor and Thriver. James has truly defied the odds and emerged stronger from the toughest of challenges. He's battled and defeated stage 3C/4 Colorectal Cancer, while also navigating the aftermath of pain, fatigue, and a difficult divorce. James' journey has been fueled by his spirituality, positivity, and kindness, which have guided him through multiple surgeries, chemo-radiation, and chemotherapy.

The event takes place on Saturday, Sept. 30 (includes coffee, tea and lunch), from 10 am to 4 pm, and Sunday, Oct. 1 (includes breakfast), from 10 am to 1 pm.
