Since 1981, ACHIEVEability has worked to permanently break the generational cycle of poverty for low-income, single parent and homeless families through higher education, affordable housing, supportive services, community and economic development and accountability. ACHIEVEability provides individuals and families with a “hand up” to build a strong foundation for success. Our holistic approach addresses barriers preventing individuals and families from achieving their potential. We provide support and resources to transform their lives, provide better opportunities for their families and create positive change in their communities. On May 11th, KW Philly will team up with ACHIEVEability for a day of service. At this event, KW volunteers will break up into small groups for gardening, painting, trash cleanup, and more in order to spruce up the spaces that ACHIEVEability uses to provide their services.
