Nature of God's Creatures Summer Camp (6-8 years, PM)

What is God like? What is our local environment like? What do those things have to do with each other? Those are the questions we'll seek to answer in this day camp for lower elementary-aged students. Using Romans 1:20 as our foundation, we'll spend the week exploring nature through a variety of hikes and hands-on activities. As we encounter more and more of creation, we'll discover more about the character of the Creator. Drawing those connections will help us understand who God is, and what right relationships ought to look like between humans, the environment, and our Creator. In this week, we'll focus on some of the amazing creatures that live right here in west Michigan. They have much to teach us as we learn about their features, strategies, and adaptations to surviving in this place. We'll discover how they're all dependent on each other, and how we're included in that web of life. This is a 5-day camp, running Monday-Friday from 1-4pm. Open to ages 6-8. Students will be split into smaller groups during camp time. Snacks and materials will be provided. Students should bring their own water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray.
