The Colorado Black Health Collaborative (CBHC) believes YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR WEALTH AND WORTH BEING PREPARED TO FIGHT FOR! Join us and learn how to put on your FULL BODY OF ARMOR to protect your health and win the fight to stop the health disparities in the Black community. CBHC is very excited to be in-person and in the community again for our Put on your Armor of Health and Win! event. This event will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from1:30 pm to 4:30 PM at Lowry Conference Center located at 1061 Akron Way, Building 697, Denver, CO. 80230. We ask that you register for this FREE event that is sure to be fun and lively featuring special guest speakers, performers, and good, good food! CBHC is excited to welcome our keynote speaker Dr. Kamal Henderon, MD who is a medical cardiologist and assistant professor at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. We also welcome the dynamic Intergenerational Women's African Drum and Dance Ensemble (IWADDE) who will lead a special session on Holistic Healing through Dance for Mental and Physical Health and Well-being. • Food will be provided by CMe Catering by Regina Edmondson.
