Our inaugural Learn to Lift workshop will cover the squat, the first of the competitive powerlifts. Even if you're not a powerlifter, the squat is perhaps the most versatile of all strength training exercises. Learning to squat properly will help you get stronger, build muscle and gain confidence, all while reducing the risk of injury.

About the Coach
Tony Bonvechio is the owner and head coach of Bonvec Strength, greater Worcester's premiere strength training facility. With 13 years of powerlifting experience, Tony has achieved elite status in the 90kg class and Master's status in the 100kg class. As a coach, Tony has helped hundreds of lifters succeed on and off the powerlifting platform, including multiple national record holders. Tony earned his Master's degree in exercise science from Adelphi University in 2013.
