Armed Robbery Reported In Northbrook Court Parking Lot: Police

NORTHBROOK, IL — A woman suffered minor injuries as the result of an armed robbery Monday night in a parking lot at Northbrook Court, according to police. The woman said she was walking to her car at around 6:27 p.m. when three to four men pulled up in an SUV. After two men exited the vehicle, one pointed a pistol at the woman and ordered her to give them all of her belongings. The woman was then knocked to the ground and struck, according to a release from police. Her purse was taken before the men fled in the SUV. The woman said the men were wearing surgical masks. She suffered minor injuries, but was not hospitalized, according to police. Northbrook police said the investigation is ongoing and are looking for the vehicle, reviewing video surveillance.
