Our hosts are not only well-trained chefs, but also love to teach cooking AND love to get to know interesting people in the process of making a meal together. They believe cooking & eating together is the foundation of community and of joy. SUGGESTED DONATION: To reimburse our hosts for buying all our amazing ingredients, please donate $5.00 - $45.00 per person. Any funds above what they need to pay for ingredients will be donated to the Q-MoB Scholarship Fund, so please be generous. If you want a receipt for your tax deductible donation, indicate that on the registration sheet when you sign in. SCHOLARSHIP FUND DONATIONS: In order for Q-MoB events to remain accessible to all queer men, regardless of their income, we invite you to make a one-time or regular monthly tax deductible donation to our Scholarship Fund. It is only through your generosity that we can guarantee scholarships to all who are in need. We will convene at Bill and Steve's house in Becket at 4:00 PM. Just bring a beverage of your choosing (and a swim suit for the hot tub if you wish). Please map your route before heading to the house, as sometimes GPS fails in Becket. CARPOOLING/RIDE-SHARING: Please carpool (and answer the carpooling questions as you register so our ride coordinator can match you with people coming from your area). If you need a ride or can give someone a ride who needs one, please let us know in the questionnaire when you register. Carpooling is a great way to get to know someone new, save gas money, and save the planet. PARKING: Park off the road, leaving room for cars to pass, and walk up to the house. The front entrance is in the back (don't ask). WAITING LIST: Because this event is limited to only 15 people, if you are bringing a guest, please include their name & email in your registration so they get counted. Do not bring guests who have not registered. If, after registering, you decide not to attend, please let us know as far in advance as possible so we can allow someone on the waitlist to attend. COMMUNICATION: If on the day of you have trouble finding the house, need to cancel, or will be late, feel free to call/text the Host, Stephen Schneider, at 323-363-6527.
