Description
This in-person conference will bring together nationally recognized experts and community partners to share best practices around innovative mental health services in Harlem and the surrounding NYC area. We aim to build bridges between community-based organizations and hospital based services to strengthen culturally inclusive care to serve vulnerable populations.
We will be offering FREE 3.0 CEU credits for Social Workers, Psychologists and Physicians for all sessions.
Conference attendees will be able to take strategies illustrated at the conference back to their diverse communities and build upon existing work aimed at supporting equitable mental health care.
We will be presenting “Heroes of Hope” Awards honoring individuals and organizations who demonstrate, through their leadership, a deep commitment to promoting mental health equity and eliminating health disparities.
The conference will be followed by an outdoor Wellness Fair. The Wellness Fair will share resources, wellness based activities, health screenings, insurance enrollment, networking, and entertainment.
