Social Waltz with Gina Sonne at Seven Stars Arts Center. Social Waltz, Sunday, May 7th 6:30-8:30 pm Discover the joy of Social Waltzing. Learn the secrets of frame and connection, the keys to becoming a skillful leader and follower. Bring friends and family! Waltzing is for everyone even if you have never tried dancing before. Sliding scale $10-$15 per person, paying at the door is also an option. No partner required. Please wear flexible soled shoes if you can. Gina is offering her time in support of Seven Stars Arts Center, all fees collected will go toward holding ongoing waltz and swing dance classes. Gina Sonne has been teaching social waltz for 12 years in Thetford and Norwich. Her life long love of dance grew with a major in dance from Adelphi University and study at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival. The discovery of Social Waltz and Lindy Hop and Blues at the Dance Flurry continue to inspire her to teach these American dance genres to our local community. She believes in the power of dance to bring joy and strengthen community spirit.
