Each year, MDEA hosts an elegant event, the Awards of Excellence, celebrating the work of teachers, staff members, administrators, community organizations, and supporters of the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. Awards are presented in ten different categories including Creative Curriculum, Most Inspirational, and Lifetime Achievement. Educators and honorees are nominated by colleagues, parents, or community members. The 2023 MDEA Awards of Excellence will be held on Thursday, May 11th, at Centre Concord (5298 Clayton Road, Concord, CA 94521). Award winners are honored and attendees enjoy delicious appetizers and desserts, socializing, and entertainment provided by MDUSD student performers. Wine will be available for purchase (cash only).
