Join UF/IFAS Extension Brevard County to learn about starting your own food business. In this class, we’ll cover the different food business types, regulatory agencies involved in food business operations, food safety, the steps to opening a food business, writing a business plan, business and finances, and more. The class will be held Saturday, April 29 and Saturday, May 6 from 9am – 1pm. There will also be an opportunity to “taste-test” your product on Thursday, May 4 at the Brevard County Farmers Market to get feedback. The cost of the program is $125. If the class is full, please join the waitlist. Each entry on the waitlist is equal to one ticket. NOTE: Classes and events may be canceled at any time due to low registration or other circumstances, with full refunds issued for paid events.
