Original Propaganda Athletic Club (O.P.A.C.) Relays is an unsanctioned road relay race celebrating Penn Relays, the oldest and largest track & field competition in the United States. The title partner of both O.P.A.C. Relays and Penn Relays is On, the Swiss Sportswear Brand. The 4 x 400ish relay will contain multiple waves and a final to determine the winner. Teams can have up to 6 runners: 4 wave runners with 2 substitute runners, if needed, for The Finals. Each team will race 1 wave with the hopes of advancing to The Finals. On will have a fleet of their new Cloudsurfer shoes available for folks to try on and run in. There will be prizes for the winning team and swag bags for attendees while supplies last! The Experience will begin and end with a happy hour at the iconic New Deck Tavern. 5p – Aloha, Happy Hour Begins 745p – Runners Gather 8p – Announcements, Shakeout 820p – Team Introductions 830p – Wave 1 Start 840p – Wave 2 Start 850 – The Finals 856p – Awards Ceremony 9p – Happy Hour Resumes, Aloha All are welcome to attend and need to register individually. Relays is unsanctioned, streets will not be blocked off for traffic (pedestrian and/or vehicular), and you are personally assuming all liability for attending and/or participating in O.P.A.C. Relays.
