The Beginning Moose Hide Dehairing & Scraping Workshop will be led by Koyukon Culture Bearer Tom Huntington, he will teach participants the earliest steps of scraping and dehairing a moose hide on a frame.
Participants must agree to attend both days of the workshop to enroll. The workshop will take place on April 28th and 29th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and attendance for the full duration of the workshop is mandatory.

Ages 16-24: Select the "Age 16-24: Moose Hide Dehairing & Scraping Wrkshop" ticket type when registering.Ages 25 and above: Select "Age 25+: Moose Hide Dehairing & Scraping Workshop" ticket type.Please ensure that you select the correct ticket type when registering. This free workshop will be held at the Alaska Native Heritage Center (ANHC). Hides will be provided at no cost; hide scrapers will be available to purchase ($150) but are not required.
