Parents and High School Students of Duval County Public Schools, On Tuesday, May 2nd, at Riverside HS, The Morehouse College Alumni Association of Jacksonville, FL, will host “The HBCU Experience: A Panel Discussion.” Join us for a thought-provoking and inspiring panel discussion on "The HBCU Experience." Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have a rich history and culture, and this panel will explore the unique experiences of attending an HBCU. Our panelists, who are alumni of various HBCUs, will share their personal stories and insights on the academic, social, and cultural aspects of attending an HBCU. They will discuss the impact of HBCUs on Black communities and the broader society, as well as the challenges and opportunities that come with attending an HBCU. Whether you are considering attending an HBCU, are a current student, or simply interested in learning more about this important topic, this panel discussion is for you.
