We are pleased to invite you celebrate our 2nd Anniversary with this year's "Fiesta del Tambor". Please join us for an evening of music, dane, dinner, and a spectacular concert and show with world renown Grammy nominees such as master pianist and composer Chuchito Valdes; from the legendary group Buena Vista Social Club, Fito Reynoso; our very own profesor, guitarist and composer Freddy Montes, and a folkloric show of afro Cuban dance we will surprise you with - don't stay home! While you enjoy a special night, you will also be helping countless displaced families new in our communities, many of which are victims of human trafficking. Through prevention, survivor care, and community transformation programs, we work to end human trafficking and sexual exploitation by empowering the voices of vulnerable and exploited children, youth, and families in our city of Tampa, and globally. Miel y Canela Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organizaiton whose mission is to empower, strengthen, support, and revitalize the voiceless communities, and an advocate to protect the standard of human rights, and fighting to end human trafficking. Join us in an evening full of fun and dance while you support the cause of making our communities safer and healthier for us all.
