POST PROM INFO: Walt Whitman Post Prom is an annual event put on by the Whitman PTSA's Post Prom Committee. This alcohol-free and drug-free event is a safe and fun alternative to after-prom parties. All WWHS seniors are welcome and encouraged to attend whether they go to prom or not! This year, the event will be held on May 6, 2023 from 12 am to 3 am at the TerpZone in the University of Maryland Stamp Student Center. The celebration will feature raffles throughout the night (students must be present to claim prizes), casino tables, tattoo artists, neon-lit bowling lanes, billiard tables, video games, comfy lounge areas, music, food and drinks, a coffee bar, and other entertainment. TRANSPORTATION INFO: We have made it easy for students to get to and from Post Prom! All students who attend Prom will be required to take our PTSA-provided coach buses from Prom to Post PromAll students who don’t attend Prom, but will attend Post Prom are encouraged to take our PTSA-provided coach buses departing from Walt Whitman parking lot at 11:30 pmAll students attending Post Prom are encouraged to take our PTSA-provided coach buses from Post Prom back to Walt Whitman parking lot, departing every 15-minutes starting at 2:15 amRegistering and selecting your transportation options are required to attend Post Prom! Purchasing a Prom ticket does NOT register students to attend Post Prom. Registration deadline for Post Prom is Thursday, April 20 at 11:59 pm. No “walk-ups” will be permitted at Post Prom. Whitman Seniors: Please register here for Post Prom! You may bring a guest who is not currently a Whitman Senior. Your guest may be a Whitman student or attend a different school. If you choose to bring a guest, please name them on your registration when prompted. Also, your guest must complete the "GUEST" registration here via EventBrite.
