In Bantu Cosmology, there is a proverb in support of the “kanda”, community that says; Mbûngi a kânda va kati kwa nsi ye yulu. “The center (cavity) of the community is located between the above and below world. The reality of the cultural heritage of a community, i.e., it’s knowledge, is the experience of that deepest knowledge found between the spiritualized ancestors and the physical living thinkers within the community.” - Kimbwandende K.B. Fu-Kiau, Ph.D This Community Circle is being made present as a thread to that principle of correspondence. This environment is extended to the BIPOC community as a means to express, connect, release, heal and grow using the principle of the tribe to restore and remedy.
