Description

We will be honoring Tara Howard-Muhammad, Mother of 6, who was murdered last year and buried on Mother's Day from domestic violence. Event will run from 11:00am to 11:00pm. Brunch will begin at 11:00am. A full brunch meal and drinks will be included. Vendors will be on site such as: nail technician, masseuse, esthetician, clothing boutique, photographer, self defense, healthy living, skin care, hair care and many more will be available. A children's area with games, crafts, and and event stations will be open. There will be live musical performances and guest speakers. DJ Radio Raheem will be spinning the music. Raffle prizes and gifts will be given to selected mothers. The Brunch will end at 4:00pm. We will then begin to Turn up 4 Tara! The doors will be open for the "1 PAN JAM". 2 Chefs will compete for the winning prize and title of the macaroni and fried chicken challenge. We will hold an Apollo style kids competition and open karaoke. No children will be permitted after 8pm. At 7pm we will end the day with a Red Carpet Adult Prom. Dress to Impress and dance the night away. A king and queen will be chosen off of the best dressed. Finger food and desert are included. A cash bar will be open all day for alcoholic beverages.
