Join us for the 2023 Culture as Cure: Baltimore Rites of Passage Forum, hosted by MENTOR Maryland DC and the Baltimore Rites of Passage Initiative (BROPI) Advisory Group. This historic forum, taking place on Saturday, May 13, 2023, 10A-4:30P at the Baltimore Unity Hall, is the first convening in over a decade dedicated to uplifting the powerful practice of rites of passage for Black boys across Baltimore City. Doors open at 9AM for breakfast and check-in! With generous support from the Baltimore Children & Youth Fund (BCYF) and other amazing sponsors and partners. The Forum is focused on addressing three major themes: educating and informing practitioners on the power of African-centered rites of passage processes, recruiting the inaugural cohort of male facilitators and implementation of innovative youth development strategies funded through BCYF. Please note the full value of this forum is $75 per person but through the generous support of our sponsors and supporters, we are excited to offer registration at the community rate of only $15 per person.
