This is a global event celebrated in over 80 nations worldwide, and we're excited to be a part of it. The event is sponsored by the City of West Haven and the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce. Event kicks off at 10AM! In addition to the Tai Chi and Qigong celebration, the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Health and Wellness fair where you can learn about, sample, and purchase the latest health and wellness products and services from the area's trusted local businesses. Experience the beauty and health benefits of these ancient Chinese martial arts as local Tai Chi and Qigong instructors lead free demonstrations and classes throughout the day. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to these practices, there's something for everyone at this event. Learn about the diversity of Tai Chi (Taijiquan) and Qigong. We will have Tai Chi instructors showcasing its health benefits as a low-impact exercise helping to improve balance, flexibility, and overall well-being. We will also have Tai Chi instructors showcasing its internal martial arts roots. Come meet your local instructors from the Southern CT area, enjoy the beautiful West Haven Green, and connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for these ancient arts. In addition to instruction by the area's local instructors, University of Bridgeport's Acupuncture Institute will be there to provide information about their courses, programs and services.
