Description
Sound Healing can be defined as the intentional use of sound to create a vibrational environment which becomes a catalyst for healing in the physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual aspects of our being. By using the vibration of the bowls and focusing the intention of loving kindness, compassion, or healing for example, one may come to a place of peace and release difficult feelings and pain. Research has found that singing bowls help clear anxiety, anger, depression, and fatigue. Most sound recipients find them deeply relaxing, and rejuvenating. No one is required to focus on a certain outcome or intention, one can simply listen to the rich, pure, vibrant tone of the bowls. This is a FREE event focusing on grief support for those who have lost loved ones. I extend a personal invitation to those wanting to experience healing through sound therapy, and I especially encourage parents who have lost a child to opioid poisoning to consider attending. You are not alone. There will be a short guided routine presented to help facilitate a peaceful/calming effect at the start of the event. This may include breathwork, meditation, or positive mantras. This is a time and place to just come and be and to receive love, light, and healing energy. Although this is a free event, donations are appreciated (suggested donation $10+). No one will be turned away for inability to make a donation. All money raised will be gifted in part to Orange Door Community Wellness to help raise money for their scholarship funds. These funds may be gifted to those who may be experiencing poverty and unable to participate in positive, life-changing events or classes held at Orange Door Community Wellness. Some of the money will also go to Voices for Awareness Foundation which is a licensed and registered nonprofit organization bringing awareness to illicit fentanyl, counterfeit drugs and related self-harm. Limited number of spots are available. Please register here to hold you spot. PRECAUTIONS: Epilepsy: Singing bowls may trigger seizures. People with epilepsy should generally avoid singing bowls. Metal implants: Avoid singing bowls if you have metal devices in your body, such as a pacemaker, coronary shunt, artificial heart valves, or metal pins or staples. The vibration of the singing bowl sound could possibly move the metal inside you, causing injury or malfunction of the device.
