ABOUT THE EVENT: Join the League of Women Voters Worcester Area at Mass Audubon Broad Meadow Brook Conservation Center and Wildlife Sanctuary on Wednesday, April 26th to continue our discussion on the Green Worcester Plan. We will be joined by John Odell, Chief Sustainability Officer, City of Worcester and Jenn Madson, Central Regional Director, Mass Audubon. The discussion will be moderated by Katherine Aguilar, LWVWA Board Member and Owner of K Sense Co. This is a free event! ABOUT OUR PANELISTS: John Odell: Chief, Department of Sustainability & Resilience, City of Worcester John has over 25 years of experience in the energy and sustainability fields, and began working for the City of Worcester in 2009.  He is currently is responsible for managing many of the city’s green initiatives, including the large scale ($115M+) energy savings performance contract with Honeywell International; electricity aggregation; municipal energy supply contracts; and the implementation of the recently approved, award-winning Worcester Green Plan - Green Worcester Plan | City of Worcester, MA (worcesterma.gov). Jenn Madson: Central Regional Director, Mass Audubon In her role as Central Regional Director, Jenn has oversight of more than a dozen wildlife sanctuaries in central Massachusetts, in communities extending from the Route 2 corridor south to the Connecticut border and west to the Quabbin Reservoir watershed. Jenn's impressive background in nonprofit management, fund development, community engagement, and social justice leadership has helped the organization move its ambitious, five-year Action Agenda, prioritizing Inclusive and Equitable Access to Nature, forward.
