Description

Who we are: As students in the Veteran Community Leadership Course, we have created a project to help veterans in Harrisonburg & Rockingham County connect. We are veterans and veteran affiliates who have the drive to develop more programs in our community that help us connect in the civilian world. About Boots + Grinds: We developed Boots + Grinds as a low-barrier way to meet other veterans in our community. We have not seen this event offered in our area and wanted to take advantage of our location and the resources around us. On Saturday, April 29th, come to Montpelier Restaurant & Bar (Hotel Madison) near downtown Harrisonburg for breakfast and coffee with fellow Veterans and their families. From there, we will shuttle all participants to The Blue Ridge Tunnel in Waynesboro, VA for a hike.
