Breastfeed Dat Baby and Wags Food & Culture are partnering to host Da Mommy Fest, an empowering, informational and celebratory event for mothers and family. The event is on Saturday, May 6th from 12pm to 4pm at 1601 Plaza Drive, Marrero, LA 70072. Da Mommy Fest will be a day filled with expert advice, entertainment, food, shopping, and activities for both mothers and children. Panel discussions will feature a lineup of veteran moms sharing their knowledge and experiences. Live musical performances by mom artists and a DJ will keep the energy high. Advice on breastfeeding and the opportunity to sign up to have doula assistance, breastfeeding assistance or childbirth education will be present. Options for lunch, snacks, and treats will satisfy any craving. Multiple vendors will offer the perfect, thoughtful gifts for Mother's Day. Games and crafts for kids of all ages will give mothers some time to relax and enjoy the festivities.
