Hey Book Lover! Are you looking for a book club specializing in books written by queer women of color?Are you a super book nerd?Do you want to meet other queer women like yourself who love a good book, particularly queer books?Do you want a safe space to show up and socialize?Do you want to support queer women writers and give them more exposure?Do you want to make friends and build community?Do you want to share other queer literature you have read?-Do you just want to have fun and talk?This is what we will be all about: To read books ( fiction and memoir) by and about Queer women of color! We will meet once a month( In-Person) at a cafe in Los Angeles( preferably the westside, Mid-city, View Park/Baldwin Hills area) or when it gets warmer in LA ( a park for a picnic) to talk about the book and socialize. Times will be one Sunday a month 1-3pm. The first four months' books will be chosen and from there, the group will vote! This will also allow us to support queer writers of color as well!
