We all have a hair tale. What’s yours? Join the Southern Metroplex Chapter of the Links, Inc. on Saturday, May 6, at 10:30 am to explore, discuss and celebrate Black women's identity, beauty, culture, and humanity, uniquely expressed through the stories of our hair. Doors open at 10am. Event starts at 10:30am. No reserved seating. Presented by The Links, Inc., Southern Metroplex TX Chapter, in partnership with The City of DeSoto Parks and Recreation Department. The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations. The Southern Metroplex (TX) Chapter was formed in 2022 to engage volunteerism and services in the southern sector of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex - Service areas include Cedar Hill, Southern Dallas, Desoto, Glenn Heights, Lancaster, Midlothian, Mansfield and Red Oak. The chapter has 34 members.
