Description

A Taste Of Tai Chi: Free Seniors Fitness Workshop At The Fremont Main Library. This workshop is a part of the Fremont Main Library's fitness outreach program for our Tri-City area residents (especially for, but not limited to, our Tri City seniors) who are looking to explore health and wellness options. For this one-hour workshop, we'll be sharing Tai Chi solo exercises, geared for the beginner with no prior experience, designed to help improve balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance, and supple strength. We will also be teaching breathing exercises, designed to stretch and strengthen the diaphragm, to aid in "getting more gas in the tank" so to speak. (These exercises are especially helpful for individuals who are dealing with breathing issues, such as asthma, and for whom jogging to improve stamina is not an option.) Monday, April 24, 2023 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Fremont Main Library The Fukaya Room 2400 Stevenson Blvd. Fremont, CA 94538 Tel. (510)-745-1400 It’s 100% FREE.
