Lectio Eucharistic Morning Retreat “’Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.’” John 6:53-54S-O-W, Let's Lectio!You are invited to join us Saturday morning, June 10th, to personally encounter and adore Jesus prayerfully through listening to what He tells us about His Body and Blood, the Eucharist. Whether you are a beginner in lectio or not, whether you can stay for the entire morning or not, you are welcome to come and see as we try to learn more about this ancient practice of Lectio Divina, while focusing on the Eucharist. "The Church has always venerated the divine Scriptures just as she venerates the body of the Lord, since, especially in the sacred liturgy, she unceasingly receives and offers to the faithful the bread of life from the table both of God's word and of Christ's body." ~Dei Verbum (#21)"For me, the Gospel is the Body of Christ; for me, the holy Scriptures are his teaching.
