CrossFit Earned is hosting a Lift-A-Thon to benefit the NH Special Olympics first woman powerlifter Chelsea Shultz's quest to grab the gold at the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin, Germany in June 2023!
Register as an individual lifter before May 5th, 2023 to FUEL HER FIRE and ensure your spot on the platform!
What to expect:
Athletes compete in the squat, bench press, and deadlift and try to lift as much weight as possible for 1 repetition.
Three Powerlifting Movements include:
3 squat attempts3 bench attempts3 deadlift attemptsWeight class: you compete in your weight category.
Gender: compete in the men’s or women’s category.
Age class: you compete in your age category.
Prizes will be awarded to each weight class, gender and age class!

Chelsea Schultz of Nashua, New Hampshire, has been active in Special Olympics for 21 years and has participated in athletics, basketball, bowling, powerlifting and softball. She will represent Special Olympics USA in powerlifting. Special Olympics New Hampshire’s first female powerlifter, Chelsea won three bronze medals in the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games. She trains at the gym regularly and works with her coach, Sharon Palermo, who first encouraged Chelsea to try powerlifting.
Cheslea is an admired member of the CrossFit Earned Special Olympics Squad. She is a great friend, driven athlete, and an inspiration to others who would like to take up powerlifting. At the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023, she will show the world what it means to be a woman competing in powerlifting.
