Join us for a fun and meaningful day of community service and environmental conservation at Venice Beach! In celebration of Earth Day, the roller skating community is organizing a Beach Clean-up Day on April 22nd, and we would love for you to be a part of it. We will be providing all volunteers with the necessary supplies, such as trash bags and gloves. Please feel free to bring your own or donate some. We encourage everyone to bring their own reusable water bottles to minimize waste. Please note that this is a family-friendly event, and all ages are welcome. We will be starting at 12:00 PM and finishing at 4:00 PM. If you plan to attend, please RSVP as soon as possible to confirm your spot. Let's work together to protect our environment and make Venice Beach a cleaner and healthier place for everyone to enjoy! _ If you are driving to the Venice Beach Skate Park located at 2100 Ocean Front Walk, Venice, CA 90291, here are some parking instructions that may be helpful: * There is a parking lot located on 2100 Ocean Front Walk, which is right next to the skate park. However, this parking lot can fill up quickly, especially on weekends and holidays. * There are also metered parking spaces available along the beachfront, which can be accessed from Ocean Front Walk or Speedway. The meters accept both coins and credit cards, and the rates vary depending on the time of day and the day of the week. * There are also several parking garages located nearby, such as the Washington Square Parking Garage and the Venice Beach Parking Garage. Both of these garages are within a few blocks of the skate park and offer hourly rates. * If you prefer to use public transportation, the Venice Beach Skate Park is accessible via several bus lines, including the Metro Local Line 33 and the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus Line 1. Please keep in mind that parking at Venice Beach can be challenging, especially during peak hours. We recommend arriving early and allowing extra time to find parking.
