This is what you were waiting for! This is one of my favorite first time backing trips. It is a short hike with great views, plus it does have a few amenities for first time backpackers. This is a one day backpacking trip and you will get to use all the skills you learned plus a few more that will be taught. We will also learn basic compass and map reading. After this trip you will be ready to conquer almost any trip. This will be a fun overnighter with plenty of memories. We will meet at the bathroom hut so please be on-time. We are backpacking so this is rain or shine. You must have backpacked before or attended the backpackers shakedown of May 20
