Description

Riley Gaines has become an outspoken advocate for the protection of women and girls ever since being forced to compete against a man (Lia Thomas) at the 2022 NCAA swimming championships. Today, she is one of the most important voices speaking out for women's sports. Although she has faced aggressive silencing tactics including being assaulted and held captive while at a speaking event at SFSU, she has persevered. She has garnered praise and recognition for standing in her integrity on behalf of fairness in sports for women and girls. K. Yang and Amy Sousa were also at the 2022 NCAA championships as activists supporting female swimmers and protesting men in women's sports with Beth Stelzer founder of Save Women's Sports. Sousa & Yang are longtime women's rights campaigners and have organized rallies & protests in front of the White House in DC, in front of the UN in NYC, #LetJulieSwim in Port Townsend, WA, and with #LetWomenSpeak in front of City Hall in NYC where they were met with aggressive violence by trans rights activists and antifa members. On Thursday, April 27 these courageous women come together to hold the line on women's spaces and sports. Each woman will speak from her area of expertise followed by a Q & A hosted by Robin Steenman of Moms 4 Liberty. Location: Moonshine Harley-Davidson 7128 S. Springs Dr. Franklin, TN,
