Lesley University's MFA in Visual Arts program will be hosting an Art Talks Lecture series, inviting internationally recognized artists to share their work and experiences. Ruth Erickson is the Mannion Family Curator at the ICA Boston – exhibitions Ruth has organized or coordinated include Mark Dion: Misadventures of a 21st-Century Naturalist, Nari Ward: Sun Splashed (originally from the Perez Art Museum Miami), Ethan Murrow: Seastead, and Ramin Haerizadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh, and Hesam Rahmanian: The Birthday Party. Her scholarly work focuses on modern and contemporary art, with specific interest in film and performance, art collectives, institutional critique, and social art practices.
