****CADETS AGE 12-13: PLEASE NOTE SPECIAL REGISTRATION OPTION – Cadets age 12-13 will be placed on a waitlist. All cadets aged 12-13 will need to register under this ticket type. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER UNDER A REGULAR TICKET IF YOU ARE AGED 12-13. After registering under this ticket type, a member of Cadre will contact you for a meeting.**** The Missouri Wing Civil Air Patrol Encampment will be held this year at the Missouri Military Academy in Mexico, Missouri. Encampment challenges you. It pushes you so you’ll grow. Are you self-disciplined? Can you lead? Can you truly work as a team? These are some of the questions the cadre will help you answer for yourself as you participate in awesome, hands-on activities and tours. Specifically, our goal is to: • Develop leadership skills; • Learn about aviation, space, and technology; • Commit to a habit of regular exercise, and; • Live the Core Values As cadets of the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, your training will emphasize not only leadership and character, but fitness and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) as you explore career opportunities in those areas and so much more. Advanced Training Flight (known as ATF) is offered for cadets who have attended one encampment and are looking to develop leadership skills and have hands on training for staff positions at future encampments. Additionally, officers who have not yet attended an encampment will be placed in ATF. **Please note, this ticket type is only for cadets who have already attended their student encampment and are returning for additional training instead of serving on cadre. Members selecting this ticket type that have not already attended a student encampment will be moved into a regular flight for the activity.** To help prepare you for encampment, we encourage you to review the Cadet Encampment Handbook, CAPP 60-71, prior to arrival. This is due to money already being used to purchase items such as food that is non-refundable. ADDITIONAL FORMS: Weekly, Encampment staff will reach out to registered members with additional forms and items that will need to be completed prior to the activity. Forms will include: CAPF 60-81, Application for Encampment; CAPF 160, CAP Member Health History Form; CAPF 161, Emergency Information; CAPF 163, Permission for Provision of Minor Cadet Over-the-Counter Medication, and the Missouri Military Academy Hold Harmless Agreement.
