"Adventurer’s Academy" This is a Dungeon and Dragons adventure for players ranging in age from 8-17. We will have staff running groups for different ages so players will be paired with individuals of similar age. This is a 5-day event for 4 hours each day. Monday July 10th-Friday July 14th from 1pm-5pm. This is an adventure written especially for our Young Adventurer’s Guild. This new adventure will be starting everyone off at level 1 and build from there through the week and future adventures. The $175 registration fee will include: · A T-Shirt with our as of yet unreleased art from local artist Christina Donley · 5 Days of adventure and cooperative story telling · 2 Snacks and bottles of water each day · $20 store credit which we encourage new players (or returning) to buy a set of dice and character miniature Each participant should bring with them a pencil with eraser and an open attitude. The Schedule will be as follows: Monday: Check-in and Character Creation. Training will start with character creation and learning how to step into the role your kiddo wants to become: mighty warrior, powerful wizard, stealthy rogue, divine cleric... the list goes on and on! Returning DM Zack is working on a creative way to help each kid step into their character role. Tuesday: Time for choices! When a road forks two ways, the Young Adventurer’s Guild must choose which route to take... and overcome the obstacles and face the consequences of those decisions. Wednesday: As the plot thickens, so does the danger, the roleplay, the importance of choices... and the treasure! Thursday: With the danger edging in closer than ever before, will the Young Adventurer’s Guild rush headstrong into the plot or will they get help from some old friends? It's time for critical planning and discovering the hidden secrets... and, did we mention treasure? Friday: The Finale. Face down the villain in a climactic battle that will decide the fate of all of Denaria as well as have an impact on the direction of the next seasonal adventures! FAQ: Will past Dungeon Masters Zack, LeAnne, Seth, James, and/or Keith be returning? · We will have as many of the return as we can. Does my child need any D&D experience to join the summer camp? · No experience necessary. Each player will be creating a new character which they can take home with them and we will store here digitally if they return to future camps. What should my child bring with them? · Paper and Pencil with eraser, if they are returning dice and their character, an open mind for adventure and meeting new people. Will my Young Adventurer be with the same group as the last event? · We do our best to keep similarly aged kids together and with the same DM's when possible.
