Celebrate Earth Day with an introduction to Permaculture, a design science and lifestyle focused on partnering with Nature to co-create abundance. During this Permaculture Planning Party, Alex shares key learnings from his permaculture design course. We will then travel to his home (8 minutes away) to tour his suburban lot and see how the principles will be applied. Community members are encouraged to share their own thoughts, knowledge, and garden creation ideas. If you would like Alex’s input on your garden, BRING A MAP of your property, noting areas of sun and shade. Planning party to be followed by optional community PLANTING parties on participants’ properties! NOTE: This skill share will begin with Alex's presentation at the Golden Valley Library Meeting Room, followed by a tour of his urban lot (8 minutes away).
