Description

The Duke's Elite 2028 Team has qualified for the Lacrosse World Series Championship, taking place in North Carolina on June 28th-July 1st. The team is raising funds to cover tournament costs, travel and lodging, and team gear for the "Parade of Flags" at the World Series! See more info below about the World Series event: The top 2028/7th Grade lacrosse teams from across the country and a select group of international teams competed at their respective Lacrosse World Series qualifying tournaments this past weekend. Duke's Elite 2028 was one of five teams that qualified coming out of the East Regional Qualifier. This sends the team to the Lacrosse World Series Championship at the Sportsplex in Matthews, North Carolina this summer for a chance at a World Series title. This Duke's 2028 team has been working extremely hard all year long. The Lacrosse World Series is much like the Little League Baseball World Series -- you only get one shot (7th-grade year) to qualify and compete. They are currently ranked #2 in Pennsylvania and #22 in the entire country (their highest national ranking this season came in at #9 in the fall). Congratulations to coaches Rick Smith, Rob Forster, Jason Christmas, Mike Murphy, and Bill Moore -- and the full roster of Duke's Elite 2028 World Series Team: Ben Winward Brady Brevic Brady Wainwright Cavan Stahl Christopher Tuohey Colin Murphy David Guarnaccia Dominic Charlesworth Drew Shellaway Gabe Ryan Jack Rynearson Keehan Petock Kyle Intal Logan Blair Logan Cornes Mason Smith Mason Ellis Michael Goffice Michael DePetris Quinn Maguire Sean Flaherty Tyler Moore Zachary Strohmeier
