Join HINGE Collaborative + Colby College Museum of Art for an Artist Workshop with Daniel Minter, where we will explore telling the stories of personally meaningful everyday objects through art. Taking inspiration from the exhibit "Ashley Bryan/Paula Wilson: Take the World into Your Arms,” Minter will discuss his unique visual language and approach to printmaking and guide workshop participants in creating their own relief prints. 6:00-7:00pm Meet at the Joan Dignam Schmaltz Gallery of Art in the Paul J Schupf Art Center, 93 Main Street. We will be taking inspiration from the exhibit "Ashley Bryan/Paula Wilson: Take the World into Your Arms." 7:00-8:00pm We will move over to HINGE Collaborative (5 Silver Street) to create our prints with Daniel Minter's guidance and enjoy some light refreshments. Pre-registration is requested for this workshop, as space is limited. Paula Wilson, Thy Self, 2020.
