A multi-media salute to Joni Mitchell's most iconic music with her own arrangements played by outstanding musicians. Complementary wine reception to follow at 6:00. Inspired by Joni Mitchell's remarkable recovery from a brain aneurysm, portion of proceeds will be donated to Neurology at Connecticut Children's Foundation. Formed by legendary artist/director Arlene Begelman (New York City Ballet; Connecticut Stage Co. founder), Love/Art/Play promotes original arts projects with professionals and non-professionals of all disciplines, encouraging them to step out of their safety zones to work on collaborative and original projects to nurture and develop nascent talents in our communities and provide opportunities for blossoming talents through workshops, lectures, and demonstrations.
