Layering. This technique intensive class covers using thin layers of paint to create smooth transitions between light and shadows. Learn how to thin and apply your paint to create seamless transitions of color from your darkest shadows to your brightest highlights. Paint control, brush control, and some basic color theory are all integral parts of this technique that will be covered. Painters need only bring a variety of brushes, including a large dry brush. $20 General Admission Early Bird: 48 hours before the event starts, a convenience fee will be added to the ticket. Ordering in advance helps our instructor better prepare for the class. Students under the age of 13 will not be admitted to this class. No Exceptions! No outside food or drink is allowed. Coffee, drinks, and food available at Cardboard Corner Cafe 8 Seats available - Cancellation/Refund Policy: Refunds are available up to 24 hours before the class start time. Emergency refunds are available after the 24 hour period, per the discretion of the instructor. Please email [email protected] to request a refund. Students must arrive and be ready to paint within in the first 25 minutes of class start time. Arrivals after this time will not be seated and will forfeit their ticket with no refund. This course is finely timed (drying time, instruction, etc.) and this policy has been put into place due to previous class disruptions, which can affect the experience for all the students.
