Chicago Friends School is about to finish its 10th year in Edgewater and there is much to celebrate! Thanks to the strong roots of our community, we have survived the pandemic, graduated our first 8th graders, and the future is full of potential. On Saturday, May 20, we are transforming the school and courtyard into a festive space where the community can dine, drink and celebrate our small-but-mighty school. There will be a delicious buffet dinner, speakers, succinct live auction, community dessert table, and open-mic performances around the fire! Our school exists because of the ongoing and tenacious support of our staff, parents and community donors. The money raised by this event provides vital support, but so do the countless acts of kindness, service and testimony that make CFS possible. We are gathering to honor and strengthen both forms of generosity. We want to make it possible for everyone to attend who wants to, while also raising needed funds.
