Yin yoga is a slow, passive style of yoga where postures are done on the floor (seated or lying-down) and held for 1-5 minutes. This allows muscles to relax and the fascia to stretch, creating more flexibility and mobility. Yin Yoga is an excellent complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga.
