The Izaak Walton League-Elgin Chapter, City of Elgin Parks and Recreation, and Forest Preserves of Cook County welcome youth 15 and under and of all skill levels to attend this FREE family-friendly event. During this fun day, prizes will be awarded to youth by age group while everyone enjoys the FREE hot dogs, chips, and water prepared by Golden Eagle Hot Dogs! Fishing poles and quick fishing lessons will be available for those in need, and youth participants will have an opportunity to win raffle prizes and other giveaways. Attendees and families alike can also partake in other nature-based activities courtesy of the Forest Preserves District of Cook County as well as meet local NFL alumni. Limited registration.
