The Dr. Debra Majeed Foundation has been established in memory of Dr. Debra Majeed and in continuation of her legacy. SCHOLARSHIP FUND - Granting scholarships to the Muslim Ummah, members of Masjid Ash-Shaheed, the spouses and/or the dependent children of said members, for study at recognized and accredited schools, colleges, universities, trade schools and other institutions of higher learning. WIDOWS FUND - Providing a bereavement gift and a one-time grant to widows in need. EMERGENCY FUND - Granting emergency funds to an individual in crisis. MUSLIM FAMILY ADVOCACY PROJECT - A grassroots initiative created to to support and provide education about Muslim family life through intellectual research and publication, interventions in public discourse, and by making available short-term financial assistance.
