As well as, share your voice on changing maternal care for black mothers This is for you? If you are a birth worker or aspiring doula! Who is seeking to build their network and resources. While giving voice and ideas on how to create better care modules for birth and postpartum for the mothers you serve. During maternal health month, we want to shed light on how we can create better and new care models for low resourced communities. As we try to bridge relationships between doulas, nurses, and other hospital professionals. We will take a deep dive conversation on deepening the action steps to creating excellence and quality care practices for birthing families. THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE OUR EVENT would be to say that it’s a fun and eye-opening experience for new, expecting and postpartum parents. This event will feature exhibitors and vendors. It will give a chance for birthing persons to collect resources for upcoming births or existing families. There’s a strong focus on resources — we will have tables that will provide parents with skills and resources to pack their expecting families arsenal. It will range from, diapers, wipes, clothing, parenting support and birthing support opportunities. It’s a one-night opportunity for each attendee to explore new options and find resources on the aspects of pregnancy, birth, babies, or parenthood that are most important to your family. As it it an opportunity, to raise funding for more birth, postpartum and midwifery training to expand the birth work workforce.
