Description

The Black Family T.E.A. is a celebration that will recognize the Greater Grand Rapids Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc and 12 years of impact the local organization has made through its service, commitment, and financial support in service of our children and all children in our community. The Black Family T.E.A. which stands for Togetherness Excellence and Achievement, will celebrate meaningful service to the community, leadership development and family legacy. We hope that you will join us for this event which will strengthen familial bonds through music, song, and storytelling. Proceeds from the T.E.A. supports the national Jack and Jill Foundation and provides funding to award deserving Grand Rapids students academic incentive grants to help defray the costs of attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
