If you’re like us, you’ve probably had a bike since you were a kid but may not know a whole lot about the world of cycling. Join Point Area Bicycle Service (PABS) owner Johnny Pawlak and shop manager Alan Dahlke for an experience at a wicked cool bike shop in Downtown Stevens Point! In business since 2012, the shop has continued to grow and evolve to serve all members of the cycling community. Johnny and Alan will walk us through the journey to starting and evolving PABS into what it is today. Then, we’ll break down all the components you need to know about cycling with mini clinics on how to pick the right bike for you, basic bike maintenance, how to be comfortable on your bike, and more. You’ll even have the opportunity to be fitted for a bike to take on a test drive; they’ve got everything from mountain bikes to fat tire bikes and even electric bikes for you to test out! Whether you’re an avid cyclist or haven’t been on a bike since your younger years, you’ll feel right at home with the guys at PABS! Snacks and beverages will be provided.
