As you know, cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in women worldwide. Yet, research shows that heart disease in women is often underdiagnosed and undertreated due to a lack of awareness and understanding of the unique risks and symptoms that affect women. Additionally, pregnancy can put a tremendous strain on the heart, and women who have had complications during pregnancy are at increased risk of heart disease later in life. That's why we are excited to have Dr. Ashu Dhanjal, a renowned cardiologist and expert in women's heart health, as our keynote speaker for this event. She will share her knowledge and experience on how to recognize, prevent, and manage heart conditions in women, including those related to pregnancy and childbirth.
