Take time for yourself and meet us on the mat. Join Kenyetta Seay, a local yoga instructor who calls students to focus in on their breath and being fully present. This 45-minute practice is accessible for all levels and will help you find your inner peace surrounded by the sights and sounds of the nature park. Be sure to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, yoga mat, or towel.
Kenyetta Seay's Bio: My name is Kenyetta and I obtained my RYT-200 from Zenya Yoga Studio. Yoga to me is all about the breath and being present. My flows are very traditional, paying homage to the originators of the practice. What this means to me is that the flows I teach focuses on breath along with body movements, holding poses to challenge both your mind and body, and encouraging you to show grace for where you are throughout this journey. You can feel confident in knowing that my classes aren’t meant to be competitive, instead, I encourage you to close your eyes and listen to my cues. Thus, creating a class that is comfortable for everybody and creating a peaceful mindset for you both on the mat and off.
Please note events may need to be canceled or rescheduled due to weather or not meeting the minimum attendance. Thank you for supporting the Elizabeth River Project’s programs and we look forward to meeting you!
