About the Electrical 101 workshop: This workshop will teach attendees how to identify the elements of a breaker panel and different types of electrical wiring in a typical Cincinnati home. After watching a demonstration of an outlet replacement and learning about the fundamentals of a few basic, common electrical circuits found in a home, attendees will get hands on practice safely replacing switches and outlets while adhering to best practices and the national electric code. About the teacher: Zach Larabee (he/him) is a Service Technician with Craftsman Electric. He loves getting to meet all sorts of people while doing electrical work throughout Cincinnati. About Do It Yourself Darlin Workshops: All Do It Yourself Darlin Workshops are geared towards beginners, open to anyone age 16+, and taught by local Cincinnati craftspeople. DIYD is a program of the non-profit CDC Price Hill Will. All of DIYD’s funding comes from grants, sponsorships, donations, and workshop ticket sales.
